Record – Keeping
Classroom Monitor revolves around an interactive markbook for teachers to conduct their record-keeping. Pupils (imported from your school database) are listed across the top with objectives down the left.
All a teacher need do is click 3 times in a box (or drag and drop multiple boxes):
- 1 click sets an objective as a target (red on the markbook) for an individual or a group
- 2 clicks sets an objective to ‘almost achieved’ (yellow on the markbook)
- 3 clicks confirms the objective as met by a pupil or group (green on the markbook)
This simple 3 click process automatically calculates NC levels/ Average Points Scores (APS)/ Foundation Stage Scores for every pupil which feeds into lesson planning, tracking, target setting and analysis. It also starts to build up pupils’ end of year reports.
Classroom Monitor comes as a complete package with all frameworks included (updated automatically), but you can easily personalise all subjects and objectives to suit your school.
